Definitely recommend sitting outside, great scenery and vibe. Would be a good place to work as well. Service was nice and friendly. Got the chips, reminiscent of more quality Maccas fries - relish was nice. Iced chai too, pretty good.

You have to go through the art gallery to access even though it appears to be separate from the gallery when advertised on here etc. strange rule to carry rucksacks not have on back??? Yeah super friendly / patient staff. Nice coffee and caramel slice. Food looked amazing on other peoples plates worth going back to try.

Beautiful atmosphere. Simple and delicious dishes that bring out the flavours of the ingredients without overpowering seasoning. We had the soy beef, chicken salad, the sweet potato, and tiramisu for dessert. The salad was so fresh and well tossed in delicious and refreshing dressing. The tiramisu was moist and just the right amount of sweet. We finished everything and we felt refueled without feeling too full. A perfect little cafe with genuinely good food.

We loved our tempura eggplant and the Kumara- delicious and beautifully presented. Our friendly waiter was extremely well informed about the Tipu tree and the cycle of life of the Eastern water dragons! Many thanks- I love the chairs also- comfortable , stylish and art nouveau!!!

Fantastic lunch at qag cafe. The quiche and chips were so nice. It was cool in the air con. Welcoming and attentive staff. We really enjoyed our meal here and look forward to coming again!

I almost hate to review this place lest it becomes too popular! 😂. This is one of my favourite go tos to bring visitors or just grab a coffee and do some work. Set against the backdrop of the gallery's beautiful architecture and fountains, grab a spot under the sprawling tree and relax. Enjoy quality food and coffee facilitated by friendly staff. What's not to love?
